Add Instant Courses to your courses list

In this article: How to add an Instant Course to your account and use the instructor materials to get started. All Plans

Instant Courses are pre-built course templates you can add to your account and customize. Each one comes with a complete structure — modules, lessons, and placeholder content — so you can skip the blank-slate phase and start filling in your own material right away.

Add an Instant Course to your account

  1. Click your photo or initials in the top-right corner and select My Courses.
  2. Click the + New course or product button.
  3. Select Browse Instant Courses.
  4. Browse the library and click on a course that fits your topic or teaching style.
  5. Preview the course structure to make sure it's a good fit.
  6. Click the button to add it to your account.

The course appears in your My Courses list immediately. It's a full copy that you own and can edit however you like — change titles, rewrite lessons, add your own videos, delete modules you don't need.

Access the instructor materials

Each Instant Course includes instructor materials in the first module. These materials contain delivery guidance, content suggestions, and customization tips for the course.

To download them:

  1. Open the Instant Course from your My Courses list.
  2. Switch to Student View (the toggle at the top of the course page). The instructor materials are stored as downloadable files, which are only visible in Student View.

Tip: Review the instructor materials before you start customizing the course. They explain the intended structure and flow, which helps you decide what to keep, what to change, and what to add.

Customize and launch

Once you've reviewed the instructor materials, you're ready to make the course your own:

  1. Replace the placeholder content — Open each lesson and swap in your own text, videos, and files.
  2. Rename modules and lessons — Click any title to rename it. Use language your students will recognize.
  3. Add or remove content — Add new modules or lessons where you need them, and delete anything that doesn't fit.
  4. Set your branding — Go to Manage Course → Style to add your logo, colors, and banner image.
  5. Set up pricing — Go to Manage Course → Price Points and create a price point. The template doesn't include pricing — that's yours to set.
  6. Build your sales page — Go to Manage Course → Sales Page to describe your course and what students will get.
  7. Open signups — When you're ready, open the course for enrollment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Instant Courses free to add?
Yes. Instant Courses are included with your Ruzuku account at no extra cost.
Can I add the same Instant Course more than once?
Yes. Each time creates a separate copy you can customize independently. This is useful if you want to create multiple courses based on the same structure.
Will my students know I started from a template?
No. Students see only the course you've built — your content, your branding, your lessons. There's no indication that you started from an Instant Course.
Why do I need to switch to Student View to see the instructor materials?
The instructor materials are stored as downloadable files in the first module. Downloadable files are displayed in Student View. Switch to Student View, then click each file to download it.
