Make images into clickable links

In this article: How to add a link to an image so students can click it to visit another page — either within your course or any external URL.

When to use clickable images

Clickable images are useful when you want to direct students to a specific page. For example, you could link a banner image to an external resource, link a product image to a sales page, or create a visual navigation element that takes students to another lesson.

This works in lesson content, sales pages, and course messages — anywhere Ruzuku's content editor is available.

Add a link to an image

  1. In the lesson editor (or sales page or message editor), click on the image you want to make clickable. A dark purple border will appear around it.
Tip: If you don't see the purple border, you may be in Student View. Click Return to Editing at the top of the page first.
  1. Click the link icon in the toolbar at the top of the editor.
  2. Paste the URL you want the image to link to in the field that appears.
  3. Click Link.

You'll know the link was added when you see the URL displayed in the bottom right corner of the image.

Test your linked image

Click Student View in the upper right corner of the page to see the image as students will see it. Click the image to confirm it opens the correct link.
