Supported browsers and devices
In this article: Which browsers, operating systems, and devices work best when using Ruzuku to create and manage your courses. All Plans
Recommended browsers
For the best experience, use the latest version of:
- Google Chrome (recommended)
- Mozilla Firefox
Both are free and available on all major operating systems. If you're not sure which version you have, check at whatsmybrowser.org.
Operating systems
Use the latest two versions of:
- Windows (Windows 10 or later)
- macOS (latest two releases)
Mobile and tablet
Ruzuku works in mobile browsers on phones and tablets. Chrome and Safari on iOS and Android both work for browsing courses and managing content. For the best editing experience, a desktop or laptop is recommended.
Live meetings (video webinars)
Ruzuku's built-in video meetings use WebRTC technology, which requires a modern browser. Here's what to know:
- Chrome and Firefox on desktop support meetings fully.
- Safari on iPad or iPhone requires the latest version of Safari for meeting participation.
- Older browsers that don't support WebRTC may not work with live meetings.
If you or your students have trouble joining a meeting, the first step is to update the browser to the latest version.
