When to use this

If your course has discussions, you can share more than just text. Attaching a file lets you share photos of your work, short videos, PDFs, audio clips, and more with your instructor and fellow students.

How to upload a file to a discussion post

  1. Go to the discussion area in your course and start typing your reply.

  1. Click Add a photo, video, or other file, then click Choose File and select the file from your computer or device.

You can upload files up to 300 MB each. Common formats include JPG, PNG, MP4, MOV, MP3, and PDF.

  1. Your selected file will appear above your reply. Click the Post button to submit your response.

Your post with the attached file will now be visible to others in the discussion.
