Fix login and account access issues
In this article: How to get back into your Ruzuku account when you cannot log in, forgot your password, used the wrong email, or are running into browser issues.
All Plans
Most login problems come down to one of a few things: a forgotten password, a mismatched email address, or a browser issue. Here is how to work through each one.
Forgot your password
- Go to the Ruzuku sign-in page.
- Click Forgot Your Password? below the sign-in button.
- Enter the email address you used when you enrolled.
- Check your inbox for an email with the subject line "one-click sign in for Ruzuku." Click the link inside.
- Enter a new password. You will be signed in automatically.
For full details, see Reset your password.
Wrong email address
Your Ruzuku account is tied to the email address you used when you enrolled. If you try to sign in with a different email, Ruzuku will not find your account.
Here is how to find the right email:
- Check for a welcome email. Search your inboxes for an email from Ruzuku or from your instructor that arrived when you first enrolled. The inbox that received it is the one linked to your account.
- Try your other email addresses. If you have a personal and work email, try each one on the sign-in page.
- Ask your instructor. Your instructor can see the email address associated with your enrollment and let you know which one to use.
If none of that works, email support@ruzuku.com with your name and the course name. The team can look up your account.
Browser and cache issues
If the sign-in page is not loading, behaves strangely, or shows an error after you enter your email, a browser issue may be the cause.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies. Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac) to open the clearing menu. Clear cached files and cookies, then try signing in again.
- Try a different browser. If you are using Safari, try Chrome (or the other way around). Ruzuku works with Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
- Disable browser extensions. Some ad blockers and privacy extensions can interfere with sign-in pages. Try disabling them temporarily or use a private/incognito window.
- Try a private or incognito window. This starts a clean session without cached data or extensions. In Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+N (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+N (Mac). In Safari, go to File > New Private Window.
Multiple accounts
If you enrolled in different courses using different email addresses, you may have more than one Ruzuku account. Each account will only show the courses enrolled with that email.
To check:
- Sign in at courses.ruzuku.com with one email address and see which courses appear.
- Sign out, then sign in with your other email address and check again.
If you want all your courses under one account, email support@ruzuku.com and ask the team to help consolidate your accounts. Include both email addresses in your message.
The sign-in link in your email is not working
If you clicked a link in an email (like a password reset link or an enrollment link) and it is not working:
- Check if the link has expired. Password reset links expire after a period of time. Request a new one from the sign-in page by clicking Forgot Your Password?
- Copy and paste the link. Instead of clicking, try copying the full link from the email and pasting it directly into your browser's address bar. Some email programs modify links in ways that can break them.
- Try a different browser. If the link opens a broken page, paste it into a different browser.
Still cannot get in?
Email support@ruzuku.com and include:
- The email address (or addresses) you have tried
- The name of the course you are trying to access
- What happens when you try to sign in (error message, blank page, etc.)
- A screenshot if you can (press Cmd+Shift+4 on Mac or Windows+Shift+S on Windows)
The team responds within a few hours on weekdays (Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM Eastern).
