When you'd use this
Opening enrollment is one of the final steps when launching a course. Once your content and pricing are set up, you flip the toggle to let students start signing up. You might close enrollment later if you're running a cohort with a fixed start date, capping registrations, or pausing the course between sessions.
Open your course for sign-ups
- Open your course and go to the course edit view.
- Look for the Sign-ups Open toggle in the upper-right corner of the menu bar.
- Click the toggle to turn it on.

Your course is now open for enrollment. Students can visit your sales page and sign up using any active price point.
Close your course for sign-ups
- Open your course and go to the course edit view.
- Click the Sign-ups Open toggle to turn it off.

Closing sign-ups prevents new students from enrolling. Students who are already enrolled keep their access and can continue the course as usual.
What your students see
When enrollment is open, students see your sales page with active price points and an enroll button. When enrollment is closed, the sales page is still visible but the enrollment options are removed, so no one can sign up.
