Step 3: Set up registration and your sales page
In this article: Build the page where students learn about your course and decide to enroll. Write your course description, customize your sales page, and find the links you need to share it.
All Plans
Your course content is built and your payments are set up. Now you need a place to send people.
Your sales page is what students see before they enroll. It's where they read about your course, see the price, and click the enroll button. Ruzuku gives you a built-in sales page for every course. No separate website or landing page tool needed.
Open your sales page editor
Go to Manage Course → Sales page.
You'll see a page with your course title, a description area, and your price points listed as enrollment options. This is what students will see when they visit your sales page link.
Write your course description
The description is the main text on your sales page. It's your chance to tell prospective students what your course is about and why it matters to them.
Focus on three things:
-
Who this is for. Help the right people recognize themselves. "This course is for coaches who want to fill their group programs without relying on social media."
-
What they'll get out of it. Describe outcomes, not just content. "By the end of this course, you'll have a complete 6-week program outline, a pricing strategy, and a tested enrollment email sequence" is stronger than "This course covers program design, pricing, and marketing."
-
What's included. Give a brief overview of the course structure. "6 modules with video lessons, downloadable worksheets, and weekly live Q&A sessions."
Formatting your description
The sales page editor supports basic formatting: bold, italic, links, and images. You can add headings to break up longer descriptions, or include a short list of module topics.
Some creators add a photo of themselves or a short course preview image to make the page feel more personal.
Your price points appear automatically
Any price points you've created (Step 2) will show up on your sales page as enrollment buttons. Students see the name and price of each option and can click to enroll.
If you have multiple price points, they all appear on the same page, giving students a choice.
Find and share your links
You have two types of links to share:
Sales page link
This link takes students to your full sales page, where they can read about the course and choose a price point.
To find it: Go to Manage Course → Sales page and copy the URL from the page.
Price point links
Each price point has its own direct link. When students click a price point link, they go straight to checkout for that specific option.
To find these: Go to Manage Course → Price Points and copy the link next to the price point you want to share.
When to use which:
- Share the sales page link when someone needs to learn about your course first (social media posts, website, email to cold leads).
- Share a price point link when someone already knows they want to enroll (follow-up email after a webinar, direct message to someone who asked about pricing).
What students see during registration
When a student clicks an enroll button or visits a price point link, they see a clean enrollment page. Here's the flow:
- Course info — the course name and the price point they selected
- Account creation — name and email (if they don't already have a Ruzuku account)
- Payment — credit card or PayPal form (for paid courses)
- Confirmation — a success message and a link to start the course
Students receive an automatic welcome email after enrolling (you'll customize that in Step 4).
The registration page is mobile-friendly, so students can enroll from their phone without any issues.
Open your course for enrollment
Before students can access your sales page or enroll, your course needs to be open for enrollment.
If you've created at least one price point, look for the Open for Enrollment step in your course launch checklist (🚀 Your quick launch guide at the top of your course dashboard). Toggle it on, and your sales page goes live.
