Manage your billing and plan

In this article: How to view your current plan, change plans, update your payment method, and handle cancellations. All Plans

Your Ruzuku subscription is managed from your Account page. Whether you need to upgrade, switch from monthly to annual billing, or update a credit card, everything lives in one place.

View your current plan

  1. Click the dropdown arrow in the upper-right corner of your Ruzuku dashboard and click Account.
  2. Your current plan, billing cycle, and next payment date are displayed on the Account page.

You'll see which plan you're on (Free, Core, or Pro), whether you're billed monthly or annually, and when your next charge is scheduled.

Upgrade your plan

Moving to a higher plan takes effect immediately. You get instant access to the new features.

  1. Go to Account from the dropdown in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Change Plan or Upgrade.
  3. Select the plan you want (Core or Pro).
  4. Choose monthly or annual billing. Annual billing saves you roughly two months compared to paying monthly.
  5. Enter or confirm your payment method.
  6. Confirm the upgrade.

Ruzuku prorates the charge based on what's left in your current billing cycle. You won't pay double for the overlap period.

Tip: If you're on Core and considering Pro, check the plan comparison for a full feature breakdown. Pro adds custom domains, certificates, multi-instructor management, and more.

Downgrade your plan

  1. Go to Account from the dropdown in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the lower plan.
  4. Confirm the downgrade.

Your current plan stays active through the end of the billing period you've already paid for. After that, the lower plan kicks in.

If you're moving from Pro to Core, features like custom domains, certificates, and multi-instructor access will become unavailable once the downgrade takes effect. Your content and students remain intact.

Switch between monthly and annual billing

Annual billing costs less over the year. Core is $99/month or $997/year (saving about $191). Pro is $199/month or $1,997/year (saving about $391).

To switch:

  1. Go to Account.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the same plan but choose the other billing cycle.

Switching from monthly to annual triggers an immediate charge for the annual amount, prorated for your remaining monthly period. Switching from annual to monthly takes effect at the end of your current annual term.

Update your payment method

  1. Go to Account.
  2. Find the billing or payment section.
  3. Click Update Payment Method (or the equivalent option displayed).
  4. Enter your new card details and save.

Your next billing charge will use the updated card. If a payment failed because of an expired card, updating the card and saving should resolve it.

Cancel your subscription

If you need to cancel:

  1. Go to Account.
  2. Click Cancel or Cancel Plan.
  3. Follow the confirmation steps.

After cancellation, your account remains active through the end of the current billing period. You can still access your courses, content, and student data during that time. When the period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan (limited to 5 student enrollments).

Your courses and content are not deleted when you cancel. If you resubscribe later, everything is still there.

Tip: If you're canceling because something isn't working the way you expected, reach out to support@ruzuku.com first. The team may be able to help solve the issue.

Billing history and receipts

Your Account page shows your billing history, including past charges and receipts. Click on any charge to view or download a receipt for your records.

If you need a receipt for a past charge and can't find it, email support@ruzuku.com with the approximate date and amount.
